BLOTrix Reader S1

Field of application

The S-Series – is a system for evaluation of blot strips, line assays and other diagnostic test strips. The reader allows a fast digitalization of the test strips. The digital images are evaluated using the BLOTrix 4 Cubos (B4C).
The S-Series – is a high-performance reader. It reads up to 50 strips simultaneously and requires hardly more than one minute. The fast system reads the strips lying in the tubs and allows the medical staff to evaluate the strips without having to take them out of the tub again. The tedious sticking of the strips onto a form is also eliminated.
The S-Series – The workflow has been optimized for the staff in laboratories and clinics. The incubated tub is taken out of the washer, e.g. RoboBlot®, and after a short drying phase is placed in the Reader. The drawer of the Reader is closed and the evaluation can be started. The original strips no longer need to be kept for documentation purposes. The digital images of the strips are stored and have the advantage of no longer fading and therefore retain their full diagnostic value for years.
The S-Series – is prepared for all manufacturers of different strip and tub formats. We cooperate with a number of the most well-known manufacturers of diagnostic strip tests. They all appreciate working with the BLOTrix Reader S. The Reader reads all common tub formats and is compatible with all washers such as Tecan, Profi Blot®; Bee Robotics, BeeBlot® and processors from Dynablot®.
